3,300 Relief Packs on the Way

Volunteers from different organizations, schools, churches, group of professionals, walk-in individuals and other concerned, put extra time and effort in repacking goods to finish 5,000 packs tonight.

At 9 PM, we’ve loaded 3,300 packs (1 truck carrying 1,700 packs and the other 1,600 packs) in the Cartrex Trucking Service and immediately after, it headed its way to SAMAR… Target communities are: Guiuan, Hernani, McArthur, Kinapundan and Catbalogan

We still have to pack about 900 goods later (900 packs are ready to be loaded), so as to distribute it to our dear brothers and sisters as soon as possible.

Early this afternoon, we have sent the NCCP Advance Program Team to Catbalogan to coordinate with the Local Government Unit, particularly Mayor Tan, and other ecumenical partners for the arrangement of logistical requirements to ensure efficient and effective distribution of goods to the most vulnerable and affected families in SAMAR PROVINCE this Saturday.
