Yolanda Isn’t Over Yet

This was taken from a window in our relief center here at UCCP Tacloban, Leyte. Over looking is the Sto. Nino Church and a picture of Yolanda’s aftermath. As the rain pours hard, the staff reflects on what could be the possible situation of the victims especially the children and the homeless in the far flung areas of Samar and Leyte. People are still in trauma, hunger and great discomfort as the melancholic mood sends out pictures from the previous calamity. From Tacloban to Manila, we appeal for MORE VOLUNTEERS to take part in the least services we can offer like relief repacking and other stuffs. Let us be one in the cause of promoting a better condition to our people here in Samar, Leyte. -Bong Dalisay of NCCP-ACT Alliance, Field Assistant
