Rise Up for Life and Rights
We ask you oh Lord, to teach us to pray for our nation. How do we pray for the highest officials in our government who are now at the very center of corruption in our land? How can we pray for them to heal our land when they themselves failed to address the corruption happening in our nation.
Help and heal us your people oh Lord, as we come and act together to confront the situation of unpeace and injustice in our midst. Lord in this time of crisis and uncertainty in our country, we pray as the Psalmist says, “The Lord will indeed give what is good, and our land will yield its harvest. Righteousness goes before him and prepares the way for his steps.” (Ps. 85:12-13).
This is our prayer, Amen.
